Skirt with a vertical Bow

The first step in learning is to repeat the pattern making algorithm. Then experiment without fear of making mistakes. It is through experimentation that we learn the harmony of proportions and lines. In the video, the model is made of cotton. The eBook demonstrate a paper mockup. Sleeve with a vertical Bow

This is the simplest design from the butterfly sleeve collection. It’s the simplest to make, but this sleeve looks impressive and not every designer can determine what shape the sleeve pattern has. When creating this design, I wanted to make something spectacular and at the same time not difficult to repeat. The lesson contains: two video, PDF eBook.

Bodice with an asymmetric Bow

In this lesson you will find a fascinating process: how to use a basic bodice pattern to create a pattern with an asymmetrical bow. The bodice pattern is multifunctional, because this pattern can be used to create a blouse — adding sleeves. Sleeve with a double Bow

This is for sure one of the largest sleeve patterns you will ever make. How to build two bows into a sleeve pattern. Creating such structures forces the brain to think a lot. Creative one-piece designs are an interesting topic. The lesson contains: two video, PDF eBook.

Dress with an asymmetric Bow

The longest lesson in the bow designs course. The eBook contains 74 photos with explanations. This design is created using a different logic than previous patterns. But this is still a bow built into the design, because the halves of the bow are created from the side parts of the lower part of the dress. The lesson contains: two video, PDF eBook.

Shirt with a big Bow

Design based on Viktor&Rolf brand shirt. In the original design, the bow is less active. Changing the size and volume of the bow is solved by using smaller numbers in the pattern making process. The pattern making logic remains unchanged at any bow size. To master the creation of a bow, you need to go through 62 steps presented in eBook. The lesson contains: two video, PDF eBook.

Additional practice

Let’s try to create a pattern only from a photo, without instructions in the form of text. It is good for the brain. Such a task trains logical thinking in the topic of modeling. Lessons

PDF eBooks are available for download directly from the student’s account. 

PDF eBooks are formatted for printing (size A4). 

Lessons open once a week for a five weeks from the start date. For your first training, you can use PDF basic patterns in scale that are available for download in the introduction to the course.

The classic drawing tools: a straightedge, a French curve, a pencil, an eraser and paper.

Each eBook is step-by-step photos of the process of pattern making and assembly a mock-ups with explanations. The tutorials have numbers that are used for the designs you see on the title page of the eBook, but you can experiment and change those numbers! The videos in the lessons will help you make sure of the correct execution of patterns making and assembly of mock-ups. The PDF tutorials contain 417 photos of the pattern making process and mock-up assembly.

A mannequin is not required for the course. You will receive basic patterns (in scale) to print, you will need paper and you can start creating patterns by following the lessons.
